JEMA (Jesús María Aguirre, S.A.) was founded in 1953. It designs and manufactures customised and industrial static power electronics systems for customers around the world. It has sales and technical service offices in Oman, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Mexico.
The company’s most noteworthy products are its secure power systems (which are designed to provide a permanent, high-quality electricity supply to the critical loads of an installation), its advanced power systems (which supply high-voltage or high-intensity power), and its renewable energy systems.
At the cutting edge
JEMA has been a pioneer in Spain in the design of converters for renewable energy installations. It developed a prototype traction system for an industrial electric vehicle more than 30 years ago; and since then, has developed other applications such as: photovoltaic inverters, converters for hydraulic energy, systems for energy efficiency and grid quality, etc. All this equipment is robust and high-quality and enables the power generated by plants to be fed into the grid in compliance with the strictest of standards.
The manufacture and supply of photovoltaic solar inverters with power ratings of between 20 kW and 500 kW, distributed across 70 MW of photovoltaic arrays, is the company’s most significant achievement in the renewables sector. The company has created the JEMA SOLAR brand, which encompasses all its activity and services in the area of photovoltaic installations, primarily comprising grid-connected arrays.
