The Assyce Group has 160 professionals dedicated to engineering, consultancy and maintenance, all of whom have a clear goal: to develop advanced solutions for achieving grid parity using environmentally sustainable energy systems. The photovoltaic division was established in 2005 and is responsible for the planning, construction and operation of large arrays using thin-film modules; a technology that the Assyce Group has exported to countries such as Mexico and Dubai.
The most outstanding arrays in Spain are the 2.2-MW thin-film array in Marchal (Granada), which was connected to the grid in 2007, and, more recently, the 5.8-MW thin-film array in Darro (Granada), commissioned in 2008. In the solar thermal sector, the group operates through its integrated engineering division, which is responsable for everything from controlling and managing heat output in kW using the energy sales model – i.e. the “Energy Manager” – through to corrective and preventive maintenance.
