Affirma Energineering & Technology, the Affirma Group’s engineering division, has five years’ experience in the sector. This division of the Affirma Group is the successor of Affirma Energía Solar and Aplicaciones Solares Apolo, and operates throughout Asia and the United States. The firm has supplied its Apolo 125 dual-axis solar tracker for a 500 kW project in China. This tracker was developed internally and uses technology that enables approximately 35% more energy to be captured than if the photovoltaic solar panels were mounted on a fixed structure. Affirma also offers a new singleaxis solar tracker which permits around 20% more electricity to be generated and can be installed on buildings or parking shelters with very little maintenance.
